A rarely-seen but exemplary example of mid-century Scandinavian art furniture, Swedish designer Folke Jansson's 1955 Arabesk Chair was originally made of a wooden framework carved by hand, filled with foam rubber panels, and covered with a yellow and black print fabric. The re-edition is manufactured with an injection of expanded foam on a metal form. Asymmetrical and funky, Jansson's Arabesk Chair is a tridimensional unrolling leaf that interlaces and models itself until it reduces itself in correspondence of the three feet. This piece may be ordered in one or two colors.
